Subframe

Subframes

Whether it's new construction or renovation projects, our three subframes are designed to meet the specific needs and challenges faced by developers and architects. From the Arbora system’s focus on reducing the CO₂ footprint, to the Versa system’s versatility, and the Terma system’s outstanding insulation properties — each solution offers unique advantages. Our subframes are not only engineered to support the façade’s aesthetics and performance but are also designed for easy installation, long lifespan, and minimal maintenance.

The subframes are mounted directly onto the load-bearing wall, eliminating the need to build a foundation. The choice of subframe depends on the building’s functionality requirements: focus on CO₂ reduction, fire safety, U-value, thermal bridging, durability, or high structural strength.

Versa
As a highly competitive subframe, Arbora combines technical innovation and practical usability with a focus on CO₂ reduction. This system is designed to meet a variety of installation needs through the use of identical brackets that allow for vertical, horizontal, and angled lath directions, offering unmatched adaptability for different façade constructions.

Arbora is available in two variants, ArboraFix and ArboraFlex. The former is a fixed system that guarantees stability and security, while ArboraFlex offers flexibility with rotating joints, ideal for roofs and sloped façades that require adjustable installation.
• Highly competitive system
• Identical brackets for vertical, horizontal, and angled installation
• Efficient and rational assembly with locking grooves in brackets
• Requires fire-resistant board
• Easy attachment of façade membrane
• Use of wood in subframe systems reduces CO₂
• Base brackets designed as aluminum system with minimal thermal transfer or Terma subframe without thermal bridges
The Terma subframe is a high-performance solution setting new standards in modern façade design and energy efficiency. This system shares the same range of applications as Versa, making it a versatile choice for both new builds and renovation projects. With its focus on eliminating thermal bridges, Terma complies with the strict requirements specified in SIA 180 071, ensuring a thermal bridge-free building and significantly improving overall thermal performance.
• Same applications as Versa
• No thermal bridges according to SIA 180 071
• Up to 40% better insulation coefficient
• Improved U-value
• Thinner walls
• Classified according to A2-S1,d0
• Can be combined with Versa

The Versa subframe stands out as the most widely used solution in the industry – and for good reason. This system is designed with a deep understanding of the complexity and demands of modern construction projects, focusing on flexibility, efficiency, and safety. Versa combines simple installation with high functionality, making it a favorite among architects and developers looking for reliable and versatile façade solutions.
• Most widely used system
• Simple and fast installation
• Can be used in constructions without fire-resistant board
• Brackets with pre-mounted thermo-stop elements
• Clean-cut fixed points and sliding joints with special bolts to prevent excessive rotation
• Standard extension from 80 to 260 mm
• Adjustable up to 30 mm
